Most comfortable boots I've ever owned! The "other brand"
that is so popular felt more like tennis shoes but these are
serious boots that are so comfy yet sturdy. I wear them all
day and never think about my feet. Easy on-off and great
traction. Wish I had two more pair for the future. Sized

Bought these boots about last November. I was never been
into this brand but after speaking with the sales person at
my local REI I considered giving these a chance. Off the bat
they looked more rugged than most of their footwear and not
so much a walk the dog shoe. The boots fit very well from
the get-go and were comfortable. I did a couple light hikes
and a 3 day hike in southern Indiana and they held up great
in wet weather. But after less then 6 months the soles began
to wear away very quickly. And between 7-8 the water
proofing also wore away; I was disappointed. But still,
these boots were great and i would consider buying another
pair and definitely recommend these

Bought these boots for backpacking trip on the rugged
Kekekabic Trail in the Boundary Waters Canoe Area. Just
starting to get into backpacking and the Kekekabic Trail
offered a steep learning curve to say the least! The boots
held up extremely well and never thought twice about them
being on my feet. I'm happy to say these boots were the
least of my worries on the Kek! They were light, comfortable
and waterproof as advertised! Due to the trails ruggedness,
we thought walking the shoreline of Parent Lake would be
shorter and ended up getting the boots completely soaked!
They were dry with in a few hours of drying by the fire.
Obviously, make sure to monitor them or the rubber melts a
bit if it gets to hot. Traction was good when the trail was
moist from the dew. Would definitely buy another pair!!

These things are great. I have used them from everything to
walking around town to hiking trails with no pack to hiking
with a 60lbs pack. They are wider than Merrell boots so they
fit my feet better. I have stood in moving water up to the
top of the ankle and the have kept my feet dry. They are
really great for walking through wet foliage from dew or
rain. I have not had any issues with the eyelets breaking
like some people have.
