Out of the box they were comfortable. I took them to
Vail/Beavercreek Colorado on a ski vacation and took only
them to wear. They have great snow and ice traction. I even
wore them to WolfGang Puck's for dinner one night and they
looked fine with some ironed hiking pants... I have had
Vasque for years love them but wanted a change. I now only
buy products from this brand. I have had a pair of H2Os for
almost two years and they have about 300 kayak miles with
them as well as the beach etc. They look almost new.

Bought these 10% off, customer return? Looked new, unworn on
dirt. worked great for 1 1/2 seasons (about 150 trail
miles...day hike and 2 weeklong PCT trips...) until the
fabric loop bootlace "eyelets" wore out mid-trip. Ended the
trip with 2 of the eye lots blown out and boot semi-tight on
my foot. only one boot did it; the other one is still
perfect. not sure why.....loved them up until them, never
got wet unless I was fording in water over the top of the
boots. very comfortable, stable on various surfaces....even
snow shoe'd in them.....BUT I would have like to have gotten
another season out of them?

I'm a year into these boots and they're worn in almost every
scenario. In the office, sloshing around at the dog park,
5-8 mile day hikes and even snow shoeing. The only time they
really don't get worn are the hot summer days since they can
be somewhat hot. Everything has held up better than expected
over their year of use and I've only had to replace the
original laces. If the boots have a con it would be the
average traction they provide on slick surfaces. It's not
horrible, just not the best around.

These are the first pair of Keens that I've owned, and man
am I sorry I hadn't worn any sooner.
These have to be the most comfortable pair of boots I have
ever put on my feet. I bought these about a year and a half
ago as I needed a new pair of boots for a trip to Peru to
hike the Inca Trail. These boots were perfect. Soft and
lightweight, my feet never tired after long days of hiking
constant vertical gain/loss. The roomier toe box really
helped with the comfort level!! Also, they took no time at
all to break in and were ready to rock within a week. They
have held up great over many miles since. Just this past
week I was out exploring some old ghost towns here in
Colorado, treading through deep snow much of the way...
these boots stayed completely dry. I have never written a
review about any product before and only do so now because I
am simply in love with these boots!!

These are a great pair of boots. Almost broken in out of the
box. Tried different brands but these are the best I've
found in this price range. Been on 4 day backpacking trips
to Shawnee National Forest and many day & weekend hikes with
these boots including creek crossings and rock climbing.
Feet stayed dry, comfortable with good footing. I am sold on
them. The only thing I would say is they are about a half
size smaller than I would normally wear. Order one half size
larger. Plenty of room in the toe box which is great while
hiking. Also great boot to walk around town and everyday
use. Ready to hit the trail at Philmont with them.

I have owned this boots for 6 mos. and put about 175 miles
on them. I have not encountered any problems previously
mentioned. I can't stand when my feet get hot. I was
hesitant to even buy boots as opposed to my low profile
light weight hiking shoes. I find these boots to breathe
well. There was no break in period and I experienced no hot
spots, however, I always put body glide on my feet before
hiking. My boots stayed dry in ankle deep crossings. The
only time they got wet was when I completely submerged them.
I found them comfortable on the flat sandy hikes of south
jersey and on the 12 miles steep, rocky, and grueling Pike
Peak Barr Trail.

I recently became a fan of the this brand and I have enjoyed
my two casual shoes very much. Recently I needed to get some
water proof boots for my job, I help set up and tear down
food trucks markets, so there's a bit of standing around on
asphalt, brick and cement. So I thought I would give these
guys a try. So even those these shoes aren't exactly
designed for how I'm using them, (I'm sure they would fair
much better on some nature trails), after about a month
they're working out quite well.
